Sarah Moss in Conversation with Max Porter

Thursday 18th October 2018, 7:30pm, The Beaumont Hotel, Hexham

Sarah Moss’s books are firm favourites here at Cogito Books and often feature in our recommendations to customers. We’ve been very fortunate that Sarah has joined us for several enjoyable evenings of stimulating discussions about her novels at our book group. So you can imagine we were pretty excited to hear that she has a new novel coming out this September. However, imagine our excitement when we realised that Ghost Wall is set in Northumberland, inspired by her visits here and the history she discovered!

We‘re delighted to welcome Sarah back to Hexham and this time she is accompanied by the brilliant Max Porter, her editor and friend and author of the incredible book Grief is the Thing with Feathers. Hilary and I have already read the book and are hugely impressed as ever, with Sarah’s writing and amazed at how exquisitely she captures and weaves together ideas so effortlessly. This promises to be a real highlight in our events calendar.

Sarah and Max’s event will take place on Thursday 18th October at 7.30pm in The Beaumont Hotel. Tickets are £8, including a glass of wine on arrival, and are available now from Cogito Books.
