Starting with an informal chat over the phone to explore the recipient’s reading habits and interests, we will then tailor a series of book deliveries perfectly to their taste. With a vast, constantly evolving selection of books at their fingertips, our experienced booksellers can be sure to reveal some hidden gems and introduce new authors – many of whom may become future favourites.

Six Months in Books

A wonderfully indulgent gift for anyone who loves books – whether they are a voracious reader already or keen to find their way back in. With a friendly conversation over the phone, we'll discuss books and discover the recipient’s interests. They may be keen to expand their reading horizons, trying new authors or genres, in which case, we can always help! We also know that a good book can be the best comfort blanket there is – and we have books for every occasion.

We will send a thoughtfully-chosen book to the recipient once a month for six months – and we hope they will get as much pleasure from receiving the books as we do from selecting them.

Six Months in Books is priced at £120.

A Year in Books

For those looking for a longer experience, we also offer A Year in Books. With telephone consultations both at the start of your subscription and midway through the year, it's the ultimate bespoke gift. During our second chat, we can compare notes on the books you have received already and shape ideas for your next instalments.

You will receive a book a month for eleven months of the year. A Year in Books is priced at £200.
